Booking online group courses
Booking procedure
Bookings are made automatically by following the steps on our website and completing the payment. In case you have difficulties with the booking process, please get in touch with us at [email protected] and we will assist you.
After finalizing your booking, you will automatically receive a payment confirmation and an email with all the necessary instructions.
Level assessment – introductory session for group courses
After finalizing a group-course booking, it is compulsory to complete our online test and send us back the results to [email protected]. You also must attend our online placement/introduction session before the beginning of your course.
The dates and times of the introduction sessions are as follows:
- during summertime 13:00 CEST/14:00 Riga/14:00 Moscow
- during wintertime 12:00 CET/13:00 Riga/14:00 Moscow
- during summertime 19:00 CEST/20:00 Riga/20:00 Moscow,
- during wintertime 18:00 CET/19:00 Riga/20:00 Moscow
During the placement/introduction session, please allow yourself up to 30 min. for:
- a brief oral assessment of your level performed by the head teacher
- a chance to express your learning expectations and objectives
- an introduction of the courses available
- a brief explanation of the method, teaching approach, schedules and class rules
- answers to all your practical questions about bookings, attendance, extensions etc
Accessing your lessons
After completing the placement/introductory session, you will be assigned to a group, and you will be notified by email, inside of which you will find the Zoom link to access your lessons. You will also find your study group in your Dashboard in the section “Access Group Course”. Inside, you will find the Zoom link to access the lessons and other information such as the timetable and the teacher’s name.
Self-study material
After completing your booking, you will immediately get full access to our self-study materials. Your access will expire 2 weeks after the end of your Russian online course.
Cancellations
Under no circumstances you will receive a refund for paid classes.
Booking online individual courses
Booking procedure
You are most welcome to book a trial lesson to familiarize yourself with our system and to try one of our online classes before booking your course. Please note that you will be able to book a trial lesson only once.
Bookings are made automatically by following the steps on our website and completing the payment. In case you have difficulties with the booking process, please get in touch with us and we will assist you.
After booking a lesson or a package of lessons, you will be able to book time slots for your lessons in our calendar.
After booking your slots, please wait for our admin to confirm your booking and to assign a teacher to you. You will receive an email notification with the Zoom link to access your lesson after your booking has been confirmed.
Please note that the interval between your booking and the lesson should be at least 24 hours. Bookings made within 24-hour time will be rejected.
Level assessment – introductory session for individual courses
This will be done during your trial or first lesson.
Scheduling individual lessons
We kindly ask you not to schedule all of your purchased lessons in stock at once, but rather to discuss the schedule with your teacher on your first lesson, as we cannot guarantee that the same teacher will be available for every time slot you choose.
Please note that our staff works from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00 (Moscow Time). You can schedule lessons outside our office working hours, but please note that we won’t be able to help should you need quick assistance. If you aren’t able to attend your lesson due to a technical failure on our side outside of our working hours, we will give you the possibility to reschedule the lesson.
Package validity of individual courses
- 1 lesson: to be consumed within 1 week
- 10 lessons: to be consumed within 5 weeks
- 25 lessons: to be consumed within 10 weeks
You won’t be eligible for a refund should you not use all of your lesson before your course expiration date.
Purchasing additional lessons
Should you purchase additional lessons, access to the self-study materials will be extended accordingly.
Cancelling lessons
Students can cancel lessons and reschedule lessons for another day and time, however it won’t be possible to reschedule lessons cancelled on the same day as they were planned for.
Last-minute lesson cancellations
You may cancel a lesson free of charge up to 12 hours before its scheduled start time. After that point, cancellations are no longer possible in the system, and the lesson will be counted as used.
Self-study material
After completing your booking, you will immediately get full access to our self-study materials. Your access will expire 2 weeks after the end of your Russian online course.
General terms and conditions
Booking conditions
Beginner groups start on specific dates only, as shown on the booking page of each plan. When purchasing a group course, please make sure to choose the right course type and level, as you won’t be eligible for a refund after the payment.
In case you wanted to book a beginner group and you have accidentally purchased a non-beginner group, you should get in touch with us as soon as possible in order for us to make the necessary changes to your booking at no extra cost.
If Liden & Denz has to cancel a group course due to the lack of participants at a particular level, you will receive one-to-one tuition with 50% of booked group lessons during the same period of time. We will not refund the fee.
Your virtual classroom (zoom)
The Zoom link of your course might change from week to week, so make sure to always use the link in your dashboard to access your lessons.

Please be aware that we will not be able to answer your emails during the weekend, but we will reply as soon as possible on the next working day.
Payments
All courses need to be prepaid by credit card.
Lesson length
One lesson lasts 50 minutes.
Minimum age
The minimum age for group courses is 16. No minimum age is required for individual courses.
Public Holidays
No group courses are held on on the following public holidays:
JAN 1, 2, 7; FEB 23; MAR 8; MAY 1, 9; JUN 12; NOV 4.
